Dr. Llewellyn Lieber Charitable Fund

As a teacher, Dr. Llewellyn Lieber has dedicated her life to traveling the world educating American youngsters living on military bases. Blessed with health and an agile mind, she decided at 93 years of age it was time to make arrangements in her will to support organizations she trusted by establishing an endowment with the Vanderburgh Community Foundation.

Dr. Lieber said that she respects the thriftiness the Vanderburgh Community Foundation and knew that she could trust it to wisely manage her life savings and to carry out her wishes for generations to come. Her fund supports the local Red Cross, Goodwill, the Salvation Army, the Humane Society, Public Radio, and Habitat for humanity.  The Lieber Fund reflects the character of a truly generous spirit.
