Internship Opportunities

Community Foundation Internships is a two-year pilot program funded by Lilly Endowment.  This new initiative enables eligible community foundations to offer paid internships to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in accredited two- and four-year Indiana colleges and universities.  These internships will be carefully monitored work or service experiences in which a student intentionally pursues personal goals and reflects actively on what he or she is learning throughout the experience.

The engagement of bright, young college interns will enhance the operations and programs of the foundations. The interns’ experiences will enrich their educational and personal development and increase their awareness of the important roles community foundations and philanthropy play in a community’s quality of life.
